Today, our fourth grade students got an
opportunity to visit Zoo Miami. Continuing their fourth grade study of Florida,
the students visited Mission Everglades to see animals native to Florida
including alligators, panthers, birds, and bears. Students were also able to
learn about conservation efforts for Florida’s endangered animals.
The students got to explore all parts of the zoo. In their journey throughout the zoo, each
student filled out a scavenger hunt and read about key information on each of
the animals. We enjoyed hearing about
all of the new information the students learned from reading about the
animals.
