Getting Crafty With Place Value

After our chapter one review, students had some fun making their own robots using their place value knowledge. Once their robot was created, students calculated how many thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones they used when creating their robot. They wrote this number in standard form, word form, and expanded form. Who doesn't love to get creative after finishing a unit in math? I know we do!





And.... our final product :)
